Kim Jong-Un Handpicks 25 ‘Virgins’ Every Year For His ‘Pleasure Squad’; Defector Says, Classroom Hunted For ‘Pretty Girls’

A defector from North Korea has shed light on a disturbing practice allegedly carried out by the country’s supreme leader, Kim Jong Un. Yeonmi Park, a YouTuber, author, and American conservative activist, disclosed that Kim Jong Un selects 25 virgin girls every year to be a part of his “pleasure squad.” According to Park, these young women are chosen based on their physical appearance and political leanings. Park herself was scouted twice for this role but was not chosen due to her “family background”. The tradition of the pleasure squad dates back to Kim Jong Un’s father, Kim Jong II, who initiated the practice in the 1970s.
Park described a meticulous selection process where officials visit schools across North Korea in search of ‘pretty girls’ to join the squad. Following an initial screening based on family history, the chosen candidates undergo medical examinations to confirm their virginity. “Once they find some pretty girls, the first thing they do is check into their family status – their political status. They eliminate any girls with family members that have escaped from North Korea, or have relatives in South Korea or other countries,” Park said.
During the test, “even the smallest defect” like a minor scar, leads to disqualification. After rigorous testing, only a few girls from across North Korea are then sent to Pyongyang where their sole purpose is to gratify the dictator’s desires.
About Pleasure Squad
The “Pleasure Squad” is divided into three distinct groups, according to Park. One group specialises in massage, another in providing entertainment for Kim Jong-un and his associates, including public appearances as the Moranbong band. The third group, known as the “sexual activities division,” is tasked with intimate relations with the dictator and other officials, according to The Daily Star.
“Their duties entail intimate engagements with the dictator and other men. They are trained extensively in the art of pleasing these individuals – this is their sole objective,” Park explained.
The most alluring members of the group are reserved for the pleasure of Kim himself, whereas those deemed less captivating are assigned to attend to lower-ranking generals and politicians, Park alleged in the interview with The Daily Star.
According to the British newspaper, the squad has now evolved, mirroring the preferences of each leader. Kim Jong-il favoured taller women, while Kim Jong-un prefers more slender figures and “Western-looking” features.
