Rithvik Dhanjani confirmed in Bigg Boss 18? Actor breaks silence, ‘Not my…’

Ever for the explanation that promo for Bigg Boss 18 was released, it has generated considerable buzz, with a few names emerging as potential contestants for the upcoming season hosted by Salman Khan. One amongst those names was actor Rithvik Dhanjani. Amid speculation that he had been approached for the show, Rithvik took to his Instagram story on Tuesday to disclaim the claims. He wrote, “Fake news alert!! It’s no longer my cup of tea; it’s too tons work to get locked up, and I love it that way! I request the media to thrill refrain from making incorrect headlines with my name. There are so much of good things to speak about.”

The first promo for ‘Bigg Boss 18,’ released last week, featured best Salman’s voice introducing this season’s theme: ‘Time Ka Tandav’ (the havoc of time). A brand new promotional clip aired on Sunday night, showcasing Salman in a gloomy blue shirt and black suit, standing atop an important ticking clock.

At some point of the video, he elaborates on the theme, stating that while the Bigg Boss eye has traditionally fascinated about the present, it should now also explore the past and future. The promo is visually enthralling, with Salman embarking on a journey harking back to a time machine, surrounded by hourglasses, masks, and cameras.
He concludes with a convincing reiteration of the season’s theme, ‘Time ka Tandav.’

Salman Khan has been a staple of the show since its fourth season in 2010, having also hosted ‘Bigg Boss OTT 2’ on JioCinema.

The inaugural season of ‘Bigg Boss OTT’ was hosted by filmmaker Karan Johar.

The previous season, ‘Bigg Boss 17,’ saw humorist Munawar Faruqui emerge as the winner.
