‘We all are rooting for you’, Rohit Sharma, Shubman Gill, Rishabh Pant, RCB lead wishes for team India ahead of ICC Women’s T20 World Cup 2024

New Delhi: The ICC Women folk’s T20 World Cup 2024 has been started on three October with Bangladesh taking on Scotland at some stage in the first fixture. The Indian women’s cricket team will likely be in action on four October as Harmanpreet Kaur and her forces gear as much as lock horns against New Zealand.

The Indian women’s team has not had top quality memories in ICC tournaments. Having finished runners-up at some stage in the ODI World Cup twice in 2005 and in 2017, the Women folk in Blue reached the final word of the T20 World Cup in 2020 but again couldn’t cross the final word hurdle.

Indian men’s cricket team captain Rohit Sharma wished the Women folk in Blue good luck before they began their T20 World Cup journey, while the likes of Shubman Gill and Rishabh Pant also wished the Indian women’s team well.

Several IPL franchises also wished the Indian team beforehand of their T20 World Cup 2024 campaign.
